Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Review
As most of you know, this mama’s been cookin’ a lil’ bun in the oven (ha, that’s pretty much the only cookin’ I’ve been doin’ lately)—so super pure, all-natural skincare is especially important to me right now. There are a bunch of cruelty-free beauty brands I rely on for non-toxic, effective skincare, and Andalou Naturals is def one of ’em.
I recently got to try a couple items from their 1000 Rose collection, oh-em-gee—they are bizzznomb! My faves:
1000 Roses Soothing Body Lotion – This bad boy uses Fruit Stem Cell Science (you can read about this anti-aging fanciness here). This GORGEOUS-smelling lotion contains rosehips and argan oils with fair trade shea and cocoa butters for über moisture. Soothing rosewater, rose stem cells, pomegranate antioxidants, and ultra-hydrating aloe vera help protect skin’s moisture barrier and stimulate healthy cell renewal. Even if this lotion didn’t have any fancy ingredients, I’d still be all over this ish because it smells divine… and the pretty rose smell lingers for quite some time – no need to rock perfume.
1000 Roses Color + Correct Sheer Tan SPF 30 – This CC cream is my savior! Ever since I got preggers, my hormones have been kicking my arse! As a result, I’ve been breaking out like crazy and have red blotchiness all over my face. Sucks. This stuff has mattifying tinted coverage (suitable for most skin tones) that hides all my blotchies and blemishes—sometimes I use this to replace my concealer and foundation. I also love that it has chemical-free SPF, which is a big deal (conventional SPF can be more harmful to your skin than not wearing sunscreen at all!). This CC cream is perfect for my delicate and dry skin, and it’s packed full of antioxidant-rich ingredients including Alpine Rose Stem Cells which help provide mega hydration and cellular support. Loooooooves it! ♥
